Southwest Gas Introduces New Bill Design to Help Customers Save Time

Southwest Gas has redesigned their bills to help customers read with ease, while remaining packed full of important information customers rely on. The new version, which is expected to replace the current one starting in early August, is part of the Company’s overall efforts to enhance the customer experience and features input gathered from customer focus groups.

Similar to a variety of efforts the natural gas distributor has recently taken, including the launch of the company mobile app and newly enriched website, the new colorful layout will provide a more reader-friendly bill, while continuing to include details about usage, energy-saving tips and more. Customers will be able to view annual usage in easy-to-read graphs, which can help manage energy usage.
 
In addition, News to Use, a separate bi-monthly piece highlighting natural gas-related information, safety messages and assistance programs will now be printed on the same document as the bill, rather than as a separate insert.
 
Southwest Gas customers are encouraged to discover the free mobile app. The app allows customers to view and pay bills, check usage, obtain outage information, and access payment history. It’s downloadable and available for Apple (http://ow.ly/Mm3Q50xxE12) and Android (http://ow.ly/IMb350xxE14) devices. Paperless billing is also available as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to help reduce its carbon footprint and help the environment.
