Service Disruption in Parker, Arizona

Continuing into the weekend, Southwest Gas would like to thank our valued customers in Parker, AZ, for their understanding and patience during this service disruption from our natural gas supplier. We are diligently working to ensure that Parker continues to receive natural gas service. Southwest Gas thanks our Parker, AZ, customers for their continued patience as we experience a service disruption from our natural gas supplier. To ensure the town of Parker continues to be served with natural gas, we are bringing in supplemental natural gas by trucks while our supplier makes the necessary repairs to its system. During this time, we ask Parker residents to continue to conserve natural gas by only using necessary gas appliances, health permitting, to minimize overall usage in the area. Customers can save natural gas by using less hot water. Some examples include taking shorter showers, washing clothes with cold water, air-drying clothes, and hand-washing dishes with cold water. In addition, limiting the use of pool and spa heaters, decorative fireplaces, or other natural gas-fueled decorative fixtures is encouraged. Southwest Gas is committed to safety and reliability and will continue our efforts to provide Parker with natural gas service.

Southwest Gas experienced a disruption in service from one of the upstream pipelines that transports its natural gas supplies and has been working through the night and into today to bring in supplemental natural gas supply to support the town of Parker, AZ. We ask Parker residents to conserve natural gas by only using necessary gas appliances, health permitting, to minimize overall usage in the area. Customers can save natural gas by using less hot water. Some examples include taking shorter showers, washing clothes with cold water, air-drying clothes, and hand-washing dishes with cold water. In addition, limiting the use of pool and spa heaters, decorative fireplaces, or other natural gas-fueled decorative fixtures is encouraged. Southwest Gas is committed to safety and reliability and will continue our efforts to provide Parker with service while our provider makes necessary repairs to its system.
