Grant Road: Edith Boulevard to Swan Road – Tucson

A contractor for Southwest Gas started distribution relocation work on Grant Road between Edith Boulevard and Swan Roadon June 28, 2021. This work is expected to be completed by the end of October 2021.
 
Construction work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Construction will also take place overnight between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Grant Road and Alvernon Way. Extended hours, including weekend work, may become necessary as the project moves forward.

Please plan accordingly as road restrictions may affect travel. Access to area businesses and residences will be maintained. We appreciate your patience as we conduct this important infrastructure improvement project.

Southwest Gas technicians and contractors may show up unexpectedly for leak surveys or maintenance. Their identity can be verified using their badge with the Southwest Gas logo or contractor logo. All personnel will be in a company uniform and their vehicle will be branded with the same logos. The specific logos can be found on our how to identify an employee or contractor page.
