Category: Arizona
TUCSON, Ariz. — Safety is always paramount at Southwest Gas. As our continued commitment to that effort we remind the public that our service technicians and contractors working in the field will have proper Southwest Gas identification. In addition, our employees and contractors will never ask customers for payment while working in the field.

When on company business, employees can easily be identified:

Customer service and construction employees always wear company uniforms
Always carry identification cards
Always identify themselves and the purpose of their visit
Should enter the home only at the customer’s request or on official company business
Drive company vehicles that are usually marked with the Southwest Gas name and logo.

If the resident is still in doubt as to the authenticity of the individual they should call the customer service office to verify the employee’s identity and the reason for the visit at 877-860-6020 .

Southwest Gas provides natural gas service to nearly 1.9 million customers in Arizona, California and Nevada.
