Category: Arizona
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Safety is always paramount at Southwest Gas. As part of our continued commitment to safety, we remind the public that Southwest Gas service technicians and contractors will have proper Southwest Gas identification. In addition, our employees and contractors will never ask customers for payment while working in the field.

Southwest Gas employees can easily be identified:
  • Customer service and construction employees always wear company uniforms
  • Employees and contractors always carry identification cards
  • They always identify themselves and the purpose of their visit
  • They should enter the home only at the customer’s request or on official company business
  • They drive company vehicles that are usually marked with the Southwest Gas name and logo.

If the resident is still in doubt as to the authenticity of the individual, they should call our customer assistance office at 877-860-6020  to verify the employee’s identity and the reason for the visit.

Southwest Gas provides natural gas service to nearly 1.9 million customers in Arizona, California and Nevada.
