Nevada businesses and commercial customers, you may be eligible for valuable rebates when you take measures to reduce your natural gas consumption.

Measures that target cost-effective natural gas savings, including retrofits, improvements and first time installations, that exceed current applicable codes and standards, may qualify. We don’t define any specific measure in our program to give your business the highest flexibility on making improvements that make the most sense for your business.

Participants may propose any measure that:
  • Produces a verifiable natural gas usage reduction
  • Is installed in either existing or new construction applications
  • Has a minimum useful life of seven years
  • Exceeds Southwest Gas’ minimum cost-effectiveness requirements
 
Measures that are excluded from this Program include those that:
  • Are offered through the commercial rebates program
  • Rely solely on changes in customer behavior
  • Merely terminate existing processes, facilities, or operations
  • Are not fuel neutral
  • Are required by state or federal law, building or other codes, or standard industry practice
  • Qualify for rebates through any other program offered by Southwest Gas

We require preapproval of your project before you purchase and install equipment. We will provide written notice if your project qualifies for a custom rebate and the amount you will receive. After installation and once new processes have been implemented, submit your installation notice along with a commissioning plan and we will verify the completion of your project and send your rebate check.
