Report Highlights

  • Improved employee safety performance, reducing the Total Recordable Incident Rate by 17% and the Days Away, Restricted or Transferred rate by 37% year over year.
  • Achieved record emergency response performance, responding to 79.2% of emergencies within 30 minutes.
  • Ranked No. 1 in customer satisfaction with Residential Natural Gas Service in the West among Large Utilities by J.D. Power for the sixth consecutive year.
  • Strengthened system monitoring and cybersecurity through completion of a major modernization project, improving Southwest Gas' ability to monitor its natural gas system in real time.
  • Captured 3.37 million standard cubic feet of natural gas using vacuum and compression technology, avoiding an estimated 191 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions.
  • Met the Company's goal of reducing emissions intensity by 20% by 2025, achieving a 33.7% reduction from fleet and building facilities compared with the 2015 baseline.
  • Reduced excavation damages by 7.7% since 2021, helping prevent natural gas releases and supporting the safety and reliability of the natural gas system.
  • Invested $2.5 million through the Southwest Gas Foundation in 362 nonprofit and charitable organizations supporting communities across the Company's service territory.
  • Contributed more than 4,500 employee volunteer hours to nonprofits and community initiatives, while employees pledged $2.71 million through the Company's FUEL for LIFE employee giving program.
  • Doubled per-block GHG emissions offsets in Nevada for participating customers in the Move2Zero program and surpassed 200,000 therms in total program offsets since 2022.
