Let Us Do a Free Line Leak Inspection.
The inspection process is free and generally takes less than an hour. Whenever possible, we try to conduct the inspection via an external leak investigation, which only requires access to the yard. Occasionally, we may need to do a pressure test, which requires entry into your home or business. A pressure test is typically required if landscaping, patios, pools, or other obstacles prevent the inspector from walking the route of the gas line. Together, we’ll make arrangements to inspect your line, call our Energy Specialists at

If a line leak is found: For your safety, your gas service will be shut off immediately. A Southwest Gas representative will then be dispatched for further verification of a leak. This requires access to your property and, in some cases, access into your home or business. If a leak is confirmed, Southwest Gas representatives will provide you with appropriate options for your situation, including possibly replacing the primary COYL as part of this program.
